In 2002 we decided to complement our current warbird fleet of a P-51, Spitfire, and Sea Fury aircraft with a P-47 aircraft. Using commercially available plans and 3-views, we are proud to introduce Century Jet Models’ P-47 Thunderbolt and Razorback.
Designed to sit on the gear in hours! By any standard, this kit is one of the fastest built P-47 kit on the market and comes with multiple options to fit the builder’s needs and pocket book.
The basic kit comes with a primed epoxy fiberglass fuselage. The left and right removable wings come primed and designed for easy installation using a ¾” wood spar. Composite ailerons, split flaps, horizontal stab, rudder, and elevators come almost ready to install. If you are going to install a large engine, our 1/2” plywood adjustable firewall is part of the basic kit. The cowl comes with the cowl flaps. The wood package, canopy, instructions, and picture brochure are included.
Optional CJM landing gear with 3/4” diameter oleo struts, retractable tail wheel, scale cockpit, painted pilot, scale functional exhaust stacks and scale functional cowl flaps are available. Looking for the Razorback P-47, we have that too.
