Designed for models that have a drop-down panel on the bottom of the wing(s) that contains a Landing or Taxi Light, like some wardbirds (P-40, P-51), as well as some civilian aircraft like the Stinson Reliant, this circuit will control the servo that moves the panel, and turn the Landing Light on/off, all from just a single receiver channel. It includes an 8mm 1/2 watt Straw-Hat LED, and comes with an LED Reflector to amplify the light output of the LED for maximum brightness. The clock-wise/counter clock-wise rotaion of the servo is reversible, to make it easy to configure for any model or design, and the servo’s movement is slower than normal to prevent the panel from slamming up/down. The servo’s position is held stationary by an always-active signal, so the panel won’t move or collapse even if the panel is lowered in flight, and air is pushing against it.
This circuit is regulated, so it is compatible with receivers running at any voltage, including high-voltage (HV) receivers. It is powered from your receiver, so no additional battery is necessary.
