Service Agreement
All landing gear purchased directly from Century Jet Models, Inc. after August 1, 2010 are eligible for a service agreement up to one year from the date of purchase. The service agreement is for repair or replacement coverage for damage caused during the proper use of the landing gear. Landing gear is defined as CJM upper mechanisms, struts, and axles. The modeler must follow the proper installation and mounting instructions provided by Century Jet Models, Inc. (for example: Proper flat spots and use of J.B. Weld).
The term of the insurance is for 1 year or the first repair whichever is shorter. The insurance may be repurchased at the purchase anniversary date or at the time of repair. All labor costs are included. All shipping costs are not included.
The service agreement is fully transferable through sale, gift or exchange. In other words the landing gear is covered not the modeler. Landing gear covered by a service agreement will have a CJM inscribed serial number and there are no exceptions.
If you currently own or, acquire in the future, a set of Century Jet Models landing gear without a serial number you may send it to us to be refurbished and upgraded at your expense. CJM will then apply a serial number to your landing gear and you may then purchase a service agreement for up to 1 year for your "like new" landing gear.
If you purchase a set of new landing gear through one of our distributors, you are still eligible for a service agreement. Simply fill out the enclosed service agreement card and send it to CJM with a check for the service agreement and,
This agreement does not change the lifetime inner strut warranty on Centurion landing gear or the lifetime warranty on the standard and deluxe 4-way CJM air valves.
The cost of the service agreement is 12% of the retail price of the landing gear.
